São Tomé and Príncipe is the tiny land ( two islands) in the Gulf of Guinea. Although Portuguese founded it in 1485, there are not many buildings - the samples of colonial architecture can be noticed even in its capital. The climate there is very humid, and it has destroyed the houses. Parks and blooming gardens on these beautiful islands let the country visitors get more pleasure from wandering a round this smallest land.
The islands are excellent to organize there a honeymoon or a family travel. Tourists come here rarely , so you will enjoy the country’s culture and nature by yourself. This is the place for the rest only, for doing nothing but relaxing on the beach and trying local cuisine. Fishing on the islands is another fun you will love.
The country has many beaches - clean and very tidy. The visitors state the Praia Sete Ondes beach is the best one.
The country is very poor - in 1975 it got independence from Portugal and their life level changed. People sell fish and fruit, so you can try exclusive and unique food here.
